As consumers of meat we expect, and demand, that we will not be infected with deceases from the food, no matter if it is food from large nutricial manufacturers or small farm products. It is also in the manufacturers own interest to get confirmed that the products meets the highest quality standards.

 

Normally meat products and other food products are tested by the means of growth of bacterias that are both disease causing and non-desease causing. Examples can be Listeria, E.Coli, Salmonella, Kimtal og Bacillus.
